our Story
In 2019, our founder was restoring a 1972 Honda CB350. The bike was perfect. The gear available? Not so much. Generic black nylon bags. Mass-produced saddlebags that looked like they belonged on a delivery scooter. Nothing that matched the character of a classic motorcycle. So we made our own.
What started as a single leather tail bag for a personal project grew into a full line of vintage motorcycle bags, steampunk riding accessories, and handcrafted PU leather goods. Today, RetroMotoPack serves riders in 30+ countries who share one belief: your gear should be as distinctive as your ride.

Our Factory & the GEARDUKE Brand
Behind RetroMotoPack is a 14-year-old PU leather goods factory with deep roots in leather craftsmanship. Our parent brand, GEARDUKE, has been supplying steampunk and motorcycle gear to retailers in 30+ countries. Every product that carries the RetroMotoPack name is made in our own facility.
We control every step: from sourcing raw PU leather to the final brass buckle being polished and inspected. This vertical integration means better quality, faster turnaround, and prices that don’t inflate through middlemen.
How We Make Our Gear
Every RetroMotoPack product goes through a rigorous 4-step manufacturing process:
1. Material Selection
Premium PU leather inspected for grain, thickness, and consistency. Brass hardware sourced from certified suppliers. Visual and tactile inspection with a reject rate of about 5%.
2. Pattern Cutting
Precision die-cutting using steel templates for consistent sizing across all product lines. Dimensional accuracy within ±1mm tolerance.
3. Hand Stitching & Assembly
Skilled artisans hand-stitch stress points, attach hardware, and assemble each piece. Machine stitching for structural seams. Double-stitch reinforcement on all load-bearing seams.
4. Quality Control & Packaging
100% final inspection: hardware function, stitching integrity, color consistency, and overall finish.
Craftsmanship
Every stitch, every rivet, every buckle matters. We don’t cut corners — our artisans take pride in creating gear that lasts years, not months.
Functionality
Steampunk style means nothing if the gear doesn’t work on the road. Our products are designed by riders who test them in real conditions — rain, sun, highway miles, and city commutes.
Steampunk Aesthetic
We believe in the beauty of brass, leather, and gears. Our designs draw from Victorian-era industrial art, reimagined for the modern rider who wants gear with character.
